This is the image database of the Arnold Schönberg Center in Vienna, making it´s huge collection of historical photographs and documents available online - by now, you can browse through about 10,000 digital assets - most of them were personal belongings of the composer Arnold Schönberg (1874 - 1951).
The archive is based on the fantastic open source digital asset management system "Resource Space". Besides the simple logo and the embedded instruction-button, this is not an actual design project, but since it was a lot of work to discuss and to set up the whole structure, the costum fields and the filter possiblities, i thought it is worth a mention. And yes, i did nearly all of the 10,000 uploads by myself :)
